The Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Burnsville Blaze (Burnsville, MN), 96-49 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cougars (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Panthers go into the AAAA Section 1 test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, Lakeville North walloped Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN), 86-56, in a non-league test.
The Blaze now own a 4-16 record. They play next when they host Farmington for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 13. Burnsville will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 82-71 non-league win over Eagan (Eagan, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 15-5.
