The Douglass Indians basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the visiting Carlisle Indians to 38 in the Indians league victory on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 23-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Summerfield for a 2A Region III District 22 contest on Monday, February 12. Douglass will battle a Hornets team coming off a 60-23 league loss to Overton (Overton, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 4-24.
The Indians (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Alto (Alto, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the 2A Region III District 22 contest with a 18-11 record. In their last contest, Alto was routed by Cushing (Cushing, TX), 63-54, in a league contest.
