The Gilbert Tigers basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Carlisle Wildcats to 42 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Humboldt for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Gilbert will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 89-67 league win over Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-4.
The Wildcats (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Saydel triumphed over Pleasantville (Pleasantville, IA), 81-42, in a non-league contest.
