Centennial Eagles (Gresham, OR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hillsboro Spartans (Hillsboro, OR), 55-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Centennial upgrades its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Canby (Canby, OR) to play the Cougars in a 5A Northwest Oregon bout on Monday, February 12. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 9-9.

Next up, the Spartans play the Wilsonville Wildcats (Wilsonville, OR) in a 5A Northwest Oregon bout, on Saturday, February 10. Hillsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 16-3 record after their 69-27 league win over Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR).
