Central Lake Trojans (Central Lake, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals (Johannesburg, MI), 74-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Central Lake upgrades its record to 8-13 on the season. The Trojans travel to St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI) to clash with the Snowbirds in a Ski-Valley bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Snowbirds go into the bout with a record of 11-7. St. Mary Cathedral lost 52-20 in their recent non-league bout against Harbor Light Christian (Harbor Springs, MI)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Bellaire Eagles (Bellaire, MI) in a Ski-Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Johannesburg-Lewiston will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 51-44 non-league win over Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI).
