In Friday's non-league outing, the Central Knights (Providence, RI) basketball squad beat the host Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), by a margin of 66-54.

The Knights (7-12) will now prepare for their outing against Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Sentinels go into the Division 1 outing with a 7-11 record. In their last outing, Smithfield was topped by Barrington (Barrington, RI), 70-53, in a league outing.

The Kilties now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Barrington for a Division 1 outing on Friday, February 9. Mt. Pleasant will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 70-53 league win over Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 18-1.
