In Friday's league outing, the West Albany Bulldogs (Albany, OR) basketball squad nipped the visiting Central Panthers (Independence, OR), by a margin of 63-62.
The Bulldogs (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against Silverton (Silverton, OR). The Foxes go into the 5A Mid-Willamette outing with a 12-8 record. In their last outing, Silverton was tipped by South Albany (Albany, OR), 58-53, in a league outing.
The Panthers now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Corvallis for a 5A Mid-Willamette outing on Tuesday, February 13. Central will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 54-49 league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, OR). The Spartans record now stands at 8-11.
