Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH), 72-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Beavers travel to South (Willoughby, OH) to clash with the Rebels in a Western Reserve bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 9-9. South lost 65-61 in their recent league bout against North (Eastlake, OH)

Next up, the Hilltoppers clash with the Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Chardon will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 59-47 league win over Grand Valley (Orwell, OH).
