Falls City Beavers (Falls City, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Charlotte Trojans (Charlotte, TX), 50-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Falls City upgrades its record to 10-14 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Stacey (San Antonio, TX) to play the Eagles in a 2A Region IV District 30 bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 19-8. Stacey won 60-52 in their recent league bout against Brackett (Brackettville, TX)

Next up, the Trojans play the Stockdale Brahmas (Stockdale, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 30 bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Charlotte will attempt to upgrade on its 5-27 season record. The Brahmas come into the bout with a 6-18 record after their 52-48 league loss to Sabinal (Sabinal, TX).
