With the win, Eads upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Genoa-Hugo/Karval (Hugo, CO) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 15. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Genoa-Hugo/Karval won 41-40 in their recent non-league bout against Kit Carson (Kit Carson, CO)

Next up, the Tigers play the Holly Wildcats (Holly, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Cheyenne Wells will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 75-42 league win over Rocky Ford (Rocky Ford, CO).
