In Friday's league outing, the Muenster Hornets (Muenster, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chico Dragons (Chico, TX), by a margin of 85-24.

The Hornets (21-6) will now prepare for their outing against Tioga (Tioga, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region II District 13 outing with a 9-15 record. In their last outing, Tioga was trounced by Alvord (Alvord, TX), 63-30, in a league outing.

The Dragons now own a 4-27 record. They play next when they host Lindsay for a 2A Region II District 13 outing on Tuesday, February 13. Chico will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 63-54 league loss to Era (Era, TX). The Knights record now stands at 5-21.
