The Chillicothe Hornets (Chillicothe, MO) basketball felled the visiting Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO), 57-37 in Friday's league test.
The Hornets (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO). The Fighting Irish go into the Midland Empire test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Lafayette was beaten by Raytown (Raytown, MO), 58-43, in a non-league test.
The Savages now own a 8-16 record. They play next when they host King City for a non-league test on Monday, February 12. Savannah will encounter a Wildkats squad coming off a 64-37 league loss to Maysville (Maysville, MO). The Wildkats record now stands at 5-22.
