The Classical Magnet Gladiators basketball team (Hartford, CT), was overwhelmed 84-57 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Weaver Beavers (Hartford, CT)

The Beavers now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Capital Prep for a Capitol Region battle on Monday, February 12. Weaver will confront a Trailblazers team coming off a 61-50 league loss to Bulkeley (Hartford, CT). The Trailblazers record now stands at 9-9.

The Gladiators (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against University (Hartford, CT). The Hawks come into the Capitol Region battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, University trounced Achievement First (Hartford, CT), 67-45, in a league battle.
