University Buccaneers (Johnson City, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cloudland Highlanders (Roan Mountain, TN), 82-25 in a league bout.

With the win, University upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Unicoi County (Erwin, TN) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 20-10. Unicoi County lost 54-47 in their recent non-league bout against Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Cloudland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 12-11 record after their 69-64 league win over Tennessee (Bristol, TN).
