The Crest Ridge Cougars basketball team (Centerview, MO), was nudged 75-71 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Knob Noster Panthers (Knob Noster, MO)

The Panthers now possess a 14-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carrollton for a Missouri River Valley - East battle on Tuesday, February 13. Knob Noster will battle a Trojans team coming off a 51-38 non-league win over Orrick (Orrick, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 8-13.

The Cougars (17-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sweet Springs (Sweet Springs, MO). The Greyhounds come into the I-70 battle with a 5-19 record. In their last battle, Sweet Springs was nudged by St. Paul Lutheran (Concordia, MO), 63-24, in a league battle.
