The North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) basketball knocked off the host Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), 52-32 in Friday's non-league test.
The Skippers (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Villa Novans go into the Division 1 test with a 4-15 record. In their last test, Woonsocket went down by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 51-50, in a non-league test.
The Clippers now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Cranston East for a Division 1 test on Friday, February 9. Cumberland will encounter a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 60-30 league loss to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 4-16.
