The El Paso-Gridley Titans basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs to 39 in the Titans league triumph on Friday.

The Titans now sport a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgeview for a Heart of Illinois contest on Tuesday, February 13. El Paso-Gridley will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 56-51 non-league loss to Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-18.

The Chiefs (8-20) will now prepare for their contest against Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL). The Falcons enter the Heart of Illinois contest with a 17-12 record. In their last contest, Flanagan-Cornell triumphed over Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL), 48-45, in a non-league contest.
