The Shakopee Sabers topped the visiting Eastview Lightning basketball team by a final score of 84-65 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Sabers face the Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) in a AAAA Section 2 game, on Saturday, February 10. Shakopee will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record. The Skippers enter the game with a 15-3 record after their 69-63 non-league win over Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN).

With the defeat, Eastview moves to 3-15 on the year. The Lightning travel to Totino-Grace (Fridley, MN) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, February 10. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 17-3. Totino-Grace won 87-52 in their recent non-league game against Centennial (Circle Pines, MN)
