Episcopal Knights (Bellaire, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. John's Mavericks (Houston, TX), 72-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Episcopal upgrades its record to 26-8 on the season. The Knights travel to St. Mark's (Dallas, TX) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 22-8. St. Mark's won 67-35 in their recent league bout against Episcopal School of Dallas (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Mavericks clash with the Houston Christian Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a Southwest Prep - South bout, on Saturday, February 10. St. John's will attempt to upgrade on its 25-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 27-6 record after their 76-55 league loss to Episcopal (Bellaire, TX).
