Eunice Cardinals (Eunice, NM) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Loving Falcons (Loving, NM), 93-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Eunice upgrades its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Tatum (Tatum, NM) to play the Coyotes in a 2A District 4 bout on Friday, February 16. The Coyotes come into the bout with a record of 2-21.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) in a 2A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Loving will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 2-21 record after their 78-66 league loss to Hagerman (Hagerman, NM).
