The Mount Vernon Bulldogs basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Everett Seagulls to 46 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arlington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Mount Vernon will battle a Eagles team coming off a 62-59 league win over Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 16-6.
The Seagulls (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against Marysville Getchell (Marysville, WA). The enter the 2A/3A Wesco contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Marysville Getchell was nudged by Arlington (Arlington, WA), 62-59, in a league contest.
