Flanagan-Cornell Falcons (Flanagan, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL), 60-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Flanagan-Cornell upgrades its record to 16-12 on the season. The Falcons travel to Pleasant Plains (Pleasant Plains, IL) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 14-13. Pleasant Plains won 78-54 in their recent league bout against Olympia (Stanford, IL)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) in a Heart of Illinois bout, on Tuesday, February 13. LeRoy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record.
