The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes basketball team (Missouri City, TX), was nudged 64-58 in Friday's league battle with the host Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX)
The Tigers now possess a 26-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Dulles for a 6A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, February 13. Fort Bend Travis will confront a Vikings team coming off a 57-46 league win over Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 15-18.
The Hurricanes (15-12) will now prepare for their battle against Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX). The Panthers come into the 6A Region III District 20 battle with a 22-10 record. In their last battle, Ridge Point edged Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX), 67-65, in a league battle.
