The Gering Bulldogs basketball team scored 67 points and held the host McCook Bison to 49 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Platte for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Gering will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 64-59 non-league win over Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-9.
The Bison (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Scottsbluff (Scottsbluff, NE). The Bearcats enter the B District 8 contest with a 15-6 record. In their last contest, Scottsbluff was defeated by North Platte (North Platte, NE), 64-59, in a non-league contest.
