The Tri-Valley Vikings basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons to 41 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fisher for a Heart of Illinois contest on Tuesday, February 13.
The Falcons (18-10) will now prepare for their contest against Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Hornets enter the Heart of Illinois contest with a 16-10 record. In their last contest, Heyworth ran past Fisher (Fisher, IL), 60-31, in a league contest.
