The Gilbert Yellowjackets basketball team (Winsted, CT), was overwhelmed 89-37 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Thomaston Bears (Thomaston, CT)
The Bears now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Paul Catholic for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 13. Thomaston will battle a Falcons team coming off a 55-36 league win over Kennedy (Waterbury, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 10-7.
The Yellowjackets (0-17) will now prepare for their battle against Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Kangaroos come into the Berkshire battle with a 7-9 record.
