The Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC) basketball nipped the visiting West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC), 53-51 in Friday's league test.
The Rams (11-12) will now prepare for their test against Farmville Central (Farmville, NC). The Jaguars go into the 2A Eastern Plains test with a 21-1 record. In their last test, Farmville Central got by West Craven (Vanceboro, NC), 76-49, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Pitt for a 2A Eastern Plains test on Tuesday, February 13. West Craven will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 79-75 league loss to Washington (Washington, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-19.
