Haldane Blue Devils (Cold Spring, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY), 56-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Haldane upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY) to play the Presidents in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Presidents come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Roosevelt lost 59-57 in their recent non-league bout against Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY)
