Texas High School Basketball - Harleton can't hold off Union Grove

The Union Grove Lions basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Harleton Wildcats to 38 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 13-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Linden-Kildare for a 2A Region III District 21 contest on Tuesday, February 13.

The Wildcats (7-20) will now prepare for their contest against McLeod (McLeod, TX). The Longhorns enter the 2A Region III District 21 contest with a 32-3 record. In their last contest, McLeod nudged Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 66-51, in a league contest.
