In Friday's league outing, the Harper Creek Beavers (Battle Creek, MI) basketball squad beat the visiting Hastings Saxons (Hastings, MI), by a count of 63-43.

The Beavers (6-12) will now prepare for their outing against Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI). The Panthers go into the Interstate Eight outing with a 6-11 record. In their last outing, Pennfield defeated Marshall (Marshall, MI), 43-40, in a league outing.

The Saxons now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they host Northwest for a Interstate Eight bout on Monday, February 12. Hastings will clash with a Mounties squad coming off a 63-45 league win over Coldwater (Coldwater, MI). The Mounties record now stands at 8-9.
