Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY) and the visiting Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), saw Harrison County's basketball squad overcome Pendleton County by a tally of 68-48.

With the victory, Harrison County improves its record to 10-12 on the campaign. The Thorobreds travel to Woodford County (Versailles, KY) to confront the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 21-5.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY) in a District 38 challenge, on Monday, February 12. Pendleton County will attempt to improve on its 12-13 season record. The Bluejackets come into the challenge with a 12-12 record after their 79-48 non-league win over Kentucky Christian (Lawrenceburg, KY).
