Ohio High School Basketball - Newark Catholic overwhelmed by Heath

The Newark Catholic Green Wave basketball team (Newark, OH), was overwhelmed 51-22 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Heath Bulldogs (Heath, OH)

The Bulldogs now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sheridan for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 10. Heath will confront a Generals team coming off a 76-49 league win over River View (Warsaw, OH). The Generals record now stands at 12-7.

The Green Wave (3-15) will now prepare for their battle against Utica (Utica, OH). The Redskins come into the Licking County - Cardinal battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Utica trounced Lakewood (Hebron, OH), 40-25, in a league battle.
