The St. Bede Bruins basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Henry-Senachwine Mallards to 64 in the Bruins league victory on Friday.

The Bruins now sport a 9-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dwight for a Tri-County contest on Saturday, February 10. St. Bede will battle a Trojans team coming off a 65-37 league loss to Marquette (Ottawa, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 7-20.

The Mallards (10-16) will now prepare for their contest against Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL). The Timberwolves come into the non-league contest with a 17-10 record. In their last contest, Indian Creek was nudged by Oregon (Oregon, IL), 65-64, in a non-league contest.
