Victory Christian Academy Lions (Valparaiso, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting HomeSchool Resource Center Patriots (Monee, IL), 79-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Victory Christian Academy upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Lions travel to Hammond Baptist (Schererville, IN) to clash with the Swordsmen in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Swordsmen go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Hammond Baptist won 44-43 in their recent non-league bout against Calumet Christian (Griffith, IN)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Kankakee Trinity Academy (Kankakee, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. HomeSchool Resource Center will attempt to upgrade on its 16-18 season record. The go into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 63-59 non-league win over Grant Park (Grant Park, IL).
