Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Rockford Auburn Knights (Rockford, IL) and the host Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL), saw Rockford Auburn's basketball squad wallop Jefferson by a count of 63-37.

With the victory, Rockford Auburn upgrades its record to 18-10 on the campaign. The Knights host Hononegah (Rockton, IL) to play the Indians in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 11-14. Hononegah won 88-68 in their recent league challenge against Belvidere (Belvidere, IL)

Next up, the J-Hawks play the Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL) in a Northern Illinois 10 challenge, on Monday, February 12. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 15-11 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 10-18 record after their 56-51 league win over Rockford East (Rockford, IL).
