The Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Kelliher/Northome Mustangs to 79 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wolves now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cass Lake-Bena for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley will meet a Panthers team coming off a 74-58 non-league win over Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 16-8.

The Mustangs (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Laporte (Laporte, MN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 9-24 record.
