Texas High School Basketball - Kingwood Park overwhelmed by Nacogdoches

The Nacogdoches Dragons basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Kingwood Park Panthers to 38 in the Dragons league victory on Friday.
The Dragons now sport a 21-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dayton for a 5A Region II District 16 contest on Tuesday, February 13. Nacogdoches will battle a Broncos team coming off a 38-25 league loss to Porter (Porter, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 15-16.
The Panthers (17-15) will now prepare for their contest against Huntsville (Huntsville, TX). The Hornets come into the 5A Region II District 16 contest with a 10-16 record. In their last contest, Huntsville was routed by Lufkin (Lufkin, TX), 69-36, in a league contest.
