Swanville Bulldogs (Swanville, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN), 63-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Swanville upgrades its record to 5-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Osakis (Osakis, MN) to play the Silverstreaks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Silverstreaks come into the bout with a record of 16-4. Osakis won 76-70 in their recent non-league bout against Browerville (Browerville, MN)

Next up, the Thunder play the Upsala Cardinals (Upsala, MN) in a A Section 5 bout, on Friday, February 16. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record.
