The Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL), 56-49 in Friday's league test.
The Huskies (8-14) will now prepare for their test against Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the West Suburban - Silver test with a 13-13 record. In their last test, Glenbard West was tipped by Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL), 50-28, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 9-15 record. They play next when they host Hinsdale Central for a West Suburban - Silver test on Saturday, February 10. Lyons will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 63-40 league win over Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 14-14.
