The Malvern Prep Friars (Malvern, PA) basketball knocked off the host Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils (Philadelphia, PA), 66-56 in Friday's league test.

The Friars (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 20-4 record. In their last test, Academy of the New Church notched a victory over Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA), 64-50, in a non-league test.

The Blue Devils now own a 17-8 record. They play next when they travel to Haverford School for a Inter-Academic test on Tuesday, February 13. Springside Chestnut Hill Academy will encounter a Fords squad coming off a 74-56 non-league win over Friends Select (Philadelphia, PA). The Fords record now stands at 16-9.
