Medina Battling Bees (Medina, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH), 50-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Medina upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Battling Bees travel to St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Fighting Irish go into the bout with a record of 10-11. St. Vincent-St. Mary won 48-45 in their recent non-league bout against Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Brunswick Blue Devils (Brunswick, OH) in a Greater Cleveland bout, on Tuesday, February 13. Strongsville will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 58-54 non-league win over McKinley (Canton, OH).
