New York High School Basketball - Mekeel Christian Academy tops Utica Academy of Science

Mekeel Christian Academy Lions (Schenectady, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Utica Academy of Science Atoms (Utica, NY), 78-62 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mekeel Christian Academy upgrades its record to 13-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Kingdom Collegiate Academy (DeSoto, TX) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The come into the bout with a record of 16-9.
Next up, the Atoms play the Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Utica Academy of Science will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record.
