Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Miami Wardogs (Miami, OK), 53-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sequoyah upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Oologah (Oologah, OK) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Oologah lost 63-55 in their recent non-league bout against Skiatook (Skiatook, OK)

Next up, the Wardogs clash with the Keys Cougars (Park Hill, OK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Miami will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 16-3 record after their 73-33 league win over Vian (Vian, OK).
