Washington High School Basketball - Monroe topped by Shorecrest

The Shorecrest Scots basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Monroe Bearcats to 53 in the Scots league victory on Friday.

The Scots now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountlake Terrace for a 2A/3A Wesco contest on Tuesday, February 13. Shorecrest will battle a Hawks team coming off a 74-41 league win over Shorewood (Shoreline, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 20-1.

The Bearcats (14-8) will now prepare for their bout against Shorewood (Shoreline, WA). The Stormrays go into the 2A/3A Wesco bout with a 12-8 record. In their last bout, Shorewood was topped by Mountlake Terrace (Mountlake Terrace, WA), 74-41, in a league bout.
