The North Branford Thunderbirds basketball team (North Branford, CT), was overwhelmed 71-30 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Morgan Huskies (Clinton, CT)

The Huskies now possess a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Regional for a Shoreline battle on Monday, February 12. Morgan will battle a Warriors team coming off a 61-53 league loss to Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 4-13.

The Thunderbirds (3-12) will now prepare for their battle against East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Bellringers come into the Shoreline battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, East Hampton was overwhelmed by Cromwell (Cromwell, CT), 78-56, in a league battle.
