With the victory, New Deal improves its record to 10-19 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lockney (Lockney, TX) to play the Longhorns in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 7-17. Lockney lost 74-55 in their recent league challenge against Sudan (Sudan, TX)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Smyer will attempt to improve on its 6-23 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 18-10 record after their 71-38 league win over Ralls (Ralls, TX).
