West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host North Iowa Bison (Buffalo Center, IA), 49-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Bend-Mallard upgrades its record to 5-17 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Lake Mills (Lake Mills, IA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 21-1. Lake Mills won 101-51 in their recent league bout against Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA)
