Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR) and the visiting Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR), saw North Medford's basketball squad overcome Sheldon by a tally of 63-49.

With the victory, North Medford improves its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Black Tornado travel to Roseburg (Roseburg, OR) to confront the Indians in a 6A Southwest challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Roseburg won 67-63 in their recent league challenge against Willamette (Eugene, OR)

Next up, the Irish confront the Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Friday, February 16. Sheldon will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record.
