Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Valley City Hi-Liners (Valley City, ND) and the visiting Northern Cass Jaguars (Hunter, ND), saw Valley City's basketball squad overcome Northern Cass by a tally of 81-68.

With the victory, Valley City improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Hi-Liners travel to Oak Grove Lutheran (Fargo, ND) to confront the Grovers in a A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Grovers come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Oak Grove Lutheran lost 76-55 in their recent league challenge against Wahpeton (Wahpeton, ND)

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] Bison (Rogers, ND) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Northern Cass will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 51-46 non-league win over Ellendale (Ellendale, ND).
