The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD) basketball nipped the host St. Frances Academy Panthers (Baltimore, MD), 55-52 in Friday's league test.
The Cougars (20-9) will now prepare for their test against Glenelg Country (Ellicott City, MD). The Dragons go into the MIAA A - Black test with a 3-12 record.
The Panthers now own a 21-10 record. They play next when they travel to McDonogh for a MIAA A - Red test on Monday, February 12. St. Frances Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 64-53 non-league loss to Mount St. Joseph (Baltimore, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 14-9.
